Commodity Buyer (F/M/Div.)

Job Description Your contribution to something big: As a Commodity Buyer, you will join a purchasing project team in a global environment and become part of our Competence Center for Residential Water Heaters in Aveiro.

Your responsibility Drive the global material field strategy of electrical water heating systems, in close alignment with the global product owners; Supplier management & supplier strategy on the assigned material groups; Cost analysis and management, conduct annual price negotiation with suppliers, market scouting/analysis and cost benchmarking; Contract management, Supply chain risk management.
Qualifications What distinguishes you:   Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management or similar; Experience: Previous commercial purchasing experience for material field purchasing.
Experience in a complex multicultural and international setting; Know How: Good understanding of supply chain, production, and industrialization processes.
Knowledge of SupplyOn, SAP or similar ERPs is valued; Proficient in Excel.
Personality and work style: Interest in working within an international environment.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Solution oriented mindset with interest in working in a continuously changing environment, with new processes and digitalization tools; Language: Excellent domain of English, written and spoken; Availability to travel.
