Job DescriptionYour contribution to something big:As a Commodity Buyer, you will join a purchasing project team in a global environment and become part of our Competence Center for Residential Water Heaters in Aveiro.You will join a fast-paced environment, full of growth opportunities, where your dedication to excellence and customer-focused mindset will drive success in this high-demanding, target-oriented role.Your responsibilityDrive the global material field strategy of electrical water heating systems, in close alignment with the global product owners;Supplier management & supplier strategy on the assigned material groups;Cost analysis and management, conduct annual price negotiation with suppliers, market scouting/analysis and cost benchmarking;Contract management, Supply chain risk management.QualificationsWhat distinguishes you: Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management or similar;Experience: Previous commercial purchasing experience for material field purchasing.
Experience in a complex multicultural and international setting;Know How:Good understanding of supply chain, production, and industrialization processes.Knowledge of SupplyOn, SAP or similar ERPs is valued;Proficient in Excel.Personality and work style: Interest in working within an international environment.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
