A Snapshot of Your DayIn our HVDC Control Team, we are implementing, testing and verifying the hardware and software for innovative HVDC applications using lean and agile methods. Our diverse and multinational teams are working closely together with project management, system and equipment engineering as well as with end customers to provide customized solutions based on the latest innovations in HVDC technology. In our testing facilities we are the responsible quality gate of hard- and software for Factory Acceptance tests. On site we will commission high-voltage equipment and control and protection systems and check their functionality.
How You'll Make an ImpactPlan and execute tests and commissioning of HVDC systems on time, cost-effectively, and with high quality.Manage an international team of commissioning engineers.Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and occupational health and safety regulations.Organize Functional System Testing/Factory Acceptance Tests (FST/FAT) at test areas on site.Monitor, document, and communicate work progress, ensuring a smooth construction site process with suppliers and partners.Support project management in risk and claim management, ensuring quality and safety, and participate in internal improvement programs.What You BringUniversity degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or comparable technical education with relevant experience.Several years of experience in commissioning or managing large plants (e.g., HVDC, power plants, switchgear, power distribution systems).Willingness for worldwide business trips, long-term assignments on construction sites, and optional offshore platform assignments.Basic knowledge of Project Management.Proficiency in English; German language skills are advantageous.Strong conflict management, decision-making, result orientation, motivation, and communication skills in international/intercultural teams.About the TeamJoin our dynamic and innovative EC CO2 team, where we are at the forefront of commissioning state-of-the-art HVDC systems worldwide.
