Law firm in Guimarães  Your new role Provide expert legal advice on commercial law, ensuring compliance with relevant legal standards and protecting client interests. Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including letters of intent, NDAs, agreements, MOUs, terms of use, terms & conditions, MSAs, partnership agreements, legal opinions, pre-litigious letters, and other contracts. Communicate directly with clients via phone, email, e-meetings, and in-person meetings. Travel as needed to client locations or regulatory bodies. Conduct in-depth legal research to stay updated on the latest developments in commercial law, tech, contracts, and IP/IT. Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements and effectively address client needs. Integrate legaltech tools to streamline client relations and everyday operations within the legal team, ensuring a seamless and modernized approach to legal services Provide legal advice on IP/IT-related issues, including contracting, software licensing, and the registration of trademarks and other intellectual property assets. Manage IP projects, coordinating with third-party subcontractors to deliver IP services to clients. Act as the primary point of contact between clients and IP service providers, ensuring efficient project delivery and effective IP protection strategies. What you need to succeed
- Law degree with specialization or experience in commercial law, technology, and contract management (Experience/Education in IP/IT law is a plus);
- Experience in commercial law, tech, and contracts. Proven experience in drafting and reviewing a wide range of legal documents;
- Fluent in Portuguese and English, with excellent written and oral communication skills in both languages.
- Strong understanding of commercial law, tech, and contracts. Experience with IP/IT management is highly desirable.
- Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Next Steps
