A Snapshot of Your Day
As Commercial Project Manager, you will financially manage the execution of maintenance projects of thermosolar and industrial plants. You will also support the Sales team. You will have a strong interaction with customers, project managers, other commercial project managers, external and internal suppliers (like our factories in Sweden and Germany) and overall business support functions. You will make sure that financial and legal standards are met, contribute to the increase in profitability of the business and contribute to an accurate forecast and budgeting process. All in an international dynamic environment, within our Transformation of Industry – Steam Turbines and Generators team for South West Europe.
How You'll Make an Impact
Financial responsibility for projects and transactional business.
Supports the Project Manager in managing and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care.
You manage different commercial/finance-related matters, including but not limited to handling Accounting, Legal, Tax, Foreign exchange currency, and guarantees.
Ensures accurate methodology for identifying, evaluating, assessing risks & opportunities and mitigation activities.
Ensures the accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project financials, including recording of such in appropriate systems, like SAP.
Prepares commercial documentation for regular status meetings and ensures the accuracy of financials.
You ensure compliance with IFRS15, local GAAP requirements, reporting guidelines, and internal controls.
Identifies, minimizes non-conformance costs, and establishes an appropriate reporting structure; supports the implementation of lessons learned into own project and the organization in general.
Responsible for monthly revenue recognition and contractual invoicing.
Commercial support during Sales Phase.
Assisting Forecast and Budget related tasks.
Account receivables & payables management.
What You Bring
You hold a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent based on experience.
Proven experience as commercial project manager is a plus.
Well-founded knowledge in the area of project controlling and project reporting including corresponding standards and processes.
Experienced user of Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
Ability to work and connect in a remote team.
English and Spanish language knowledge on a business conversational level is a must.
Strong critical thinking, problem solving and efficient communication skills, team player.
Customer, result and quality orientation and motivation, as well as personal initiative.
