Commercial Forecaster What you will do The forecasting team at Amgen plays a pivotal role as a strategic partner to Commercial leadership, offering data-backed insights crucial for driving commercial success. As a Commercial Forecaster, you will contribute to the brands, executing and managing discussions with global brand leads. The individual in this role will need to skillfully influence and challenge a diverse set of stakeholders from Commercial, R&D, Medical, Finance, Manufacturing, Access, and Pricing/Contracting, while proficiently understanding the nuances of the disease area of interest and markets they support. Other responsibilities will include: Build detailed and advanced forecast model (patient, Rx, sales, Rx Based, etc.) projecting units and revenue for Amgen products by indication/regions. Supporting business planning and decision making through financial analysis. Analyze competitors and market dynamics to inform forecasting models and strategic decisions. Develop and deliver transparent presentations that articulate key variables in the forecast, ensuring comprehensive understanding for decision-makers. Act as the point of contact for global brand leads, engaging them in forecasting deliverables. Collaborate with the broader CD&A organization to integrate comprehensive insights and analytics. Supporting wider business units on an ad hoc basis (Finance/FP&A/BusinessEnablement). What we expect of you Our ideal candidate is a team player with customer focus. He/she is problem-solving and result-oriented and has time and process management skills and can compile data. Proven experience and skills needed: Minimum 3 years of experience in Pharma/Biotech forecasting, demand planning, and supply chain management OR Master's degree and 3 years of forecasting experience OR Bachelor's degree and 5 years of forecasting experience University Degree in commerce, finance, economics, mathematics, healthcare or related field
