Your contribution to something big:
In our team as a Global Category Buyer, where you'll play a key role in shaping our global purchasing strategies and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. With your experience in material field purchasing and your ability to manage costs, suppliers, and contracts, you'll help us maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Bring commercial purchasing experience in material field purchasing to effectively support global category goals and initiatives;
Contribute to the development of global category strategies, defining sub-category strategies according to RB's internal and external requirements;
Manage supplier relationships, formulating strategies for supplier development or consolidation to optimize performance;
Lead cost analysis, annual price negotiations, market scouting, and cost benchmarking to drive competitive advantages;
Oversee capacity management, contract management, and supply chain risk management to ensure supply chain efficiency and mitigate risks.
What distinguishes you:
Education: Degree in Business Management, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
Know How: Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to manage business relationships with international stakeholders and suppliers; good analytical and negotiation skills.
Languages: Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
Working Style and Methods: Self-motivated, able to handle challenging situations; team player with flexibility.
Personality: Proactive, adaptable, and resilient in handling complex situations.
