A day in your life with us
Did you know that our sales department is organized just like our stores? We have the area of Living Room, Kitchen and Dining, Bedrooms and Mattresses, Workspaces and Business, Children's, Home Organization, Bathrooms, Textiles, Eating and Cooking, Lighting, Outdoor and Decoration.
Regardless of the area of the house where they work, sales associates keep everything tidy and organized. Furthermore, they have the responsibility to actively contribute to IKEA's sales results, by:
Know IKEA products and actively learn their characteristics to present relevant and qualitative solutions to our customers;
Be curious. Approach customers, demonstrating empathy and active listening, asking questions that allow exploring customers' needs and dreams, to arrive at the best solutions for their homes;
Ensure that the products and solutions presented in the various sales spaces have adequate communication so that customers who prefer them can purchase independently;
Analyze the capabilities of the available sales space, based on information in the system, to always ensure the availability of items for the customer;
Have visibility into how different IKEA sales channels (stores, planning studios, website and app) can be integrated into the customer's shopping experience, for products and services.
Together as a team
Inspired by our Swedish roots and humanistic vision, at IKEA we have a unique culture. We believe that all people have value, regardless of any dimension of their identity - diversity is an asset to our business. We value the spirit of unity and informality. Therefore, it is very likely that you will feel at home here!
We really want to create a better everyday life for our customers. And for our co-workers. So, these are some of the benefits we offer:
Co-workers Restaurant: space dedicated to co-workers, with diverse and healthy options, for a complete meal at an affordable price (mouth-watering!)
Schedules communicated in advance so that it is easier to reconcile work with your personal life (studies, hobbies, work, or even doing nothing...)
Social and psychological support through the CÖNTIGO program;
Annual bonus to celebrate the joint effort to grow the business;
Discounts and benefits in partnerships: gyms, technology, cosmetics, hotels, travel, etc.;
Opportunities for ongoing online, in-class and on-the-job training to explore your potential.
Working at IKEA is much more than a job.
