A day in your life with us
We all know how essential it is to keep the kitchen and pantry tidy and organized in our homes. Therefore, in the catering department, all employees must ensure a clean, organized and inviting work space. We are organized into five areas, with different work focuses:
Kitchen where we prepare and cook the various dishes we have available for our customers and co-workers;
Customer restaurant is the team that provides service, actively approaching the customer, welcoming them with friendliness and, if necessary, even helping with the selection process;
Co-workers restaurant (yes, we have a restaurant for co-workers!) with a varied, increasingly healthy and sustainable offer, at very affordable prices;
Bistro is that area after the checkout line, where you can buy hot dogs (among other things!). This team prepares the delicacies and provides customer service.
Swedish Grocery store where our customers can take home their favorite Swedish products. In this area, the team provides customer service and manages the sales space, ensuring that products are always in perfect condition and priced correctly.
The safety of our products is always a priority for IKEA. Therefore, our employees must contribute to safety, efficiency and good operational practices in accordance with current routines and food safety standards (HACCP).
