Job Description Clients and service oriented, the Technical Expert monitors within a project the quality of the requirements:
Support IT specialists by gathering and sharing transversal information.
Bring clarity and highlight the business impact of the retained solution.
Attend the project daily meetings.
Software Development using Cobol language.
Perform development work with efficient and quality deliverables.
Understand the requirements document and convert them into Cobol programs.
Work with Business Analyst and Technical Leads to deliver quality product.
Involves in support activity during various testing phases of the project.
Strictly adhere to client's standards, processes, quality and security processes.
Creating test documents and execute test cases.
Provide support to clients when doing User Acceptance Testing.
Aid junior team members in solving technical issues and provide knowledge transfer.
Qualifications At least 7 years of programming experience in COBOL, DB2/SQL, JCL, CICS COBOL Online (Screens and Maps) and sequential file handling
More than 5 years experienced in system analysis and design
Experience in Visual COBOL and Eclipse development tool
Knowledge in Unix shell scripts is good to have
More than 5 years experience in conducting program unit testing and system integration testing
Experience with: Sequential file Handling
Jira/Confluence
CI/CD Understanding Jenkins, Git
Java
Languages:
Proficiency in English (minimum C1) and French (minimum B1) is mandatory for this position.
