As aCOBOL Developer, you will work for our client, a prominent player in the banking sector.
You'll maintain and enhance legacy systems that support critical financial operations while collaborating with a forward-thinking team to drive impactful developments.
Your main responsibilities:Develop, test, and maintain COBOL and Pacbase applications aligned with business requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and implement solutions.Debug and optimize existing applications to ensure high performance.Create and maintain technical documentation and user manuals.Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in French.You're ideal for the role if you have:Bachelor's degreein Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).1+ yearsof experience in COBOL and Pacbase development.Fluency inFrench(spoken and written).Experience withmainframe environmentsand legacy systems.Knowledge ofDB2databases.Strongteamwork and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.#GETREADY to meet with us!We would love to meet you.
