Our partner is looking for an experienced CNC Milling Operator to join their team at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate advanced CNC 5-axis milling machines to produce high-precision components for the aerospace sector, maintaining both quality and efficiency in accordance with production schedules.
Role: CNC Milling operator (5-axis)
Reporting to: Production supervisor
Shift: Weekend Shift - (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) - 36 hours.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC Milling Operator is preferable.
Experience with Matsuura Machines is preferable but not essential.
Must be able to speak good English .
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Familiarity with precision measurement equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC Milling (5-axis) to produce parts according to engineering specifications and drawings.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Perform regular basic machine maintenance (TPM).
Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments (e.g., Verniers, micrometres).
Adjust machine offsets and tooling as necessary to achieve desired specifications and tolerances.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.
Document production data and report any issues to the Production Supervisor.
