Cloudops Engineer

In Portugal, we partner with over 120 clients and a team of over 500 people, working in projects for industries as diverse as banking, insurance, transportation, aviation, energy, and telecom.
Headquarters of the Nearshore IT center, Alter Solutions Portugal has a dedicated team of around 30 specialized professionals, integrated into projects with several internationally renowned clients.
Responsibilities: Deliver cloud services and infrastructure.
Optimize performance and infrastructure monitoring.
Ensure that services are available no matter which platform is used to access the cloud.
Maintain industry standards and compliance.
Automate services and configuration management.
Ensure there is reliable disaster recovery in place.
Ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Make sure that the cloud services are secure and available.
Collaborate with other IT teams, both in RUN and PROJECTS.
Minimum Requirements: At least 3 years' experience in CloudOps role, preferably on Azure.
Solid knowledge of Azure public cloud.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform is valued.
Experience with automation, scripting and IaC tools is valued (i.e. Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, …).
Knowledgeable in DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
