As a Cloud Solutions Architect you'll be designing and implementing complex solutions architectures that meet business requirements and drive efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical skills and leadership ability, with the communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other members of the IT team.
The job holder is a specialist in the design, deployment, and management of cloud services within the Microsoft Azure platform. They play a critical role in ensuring that cloud infrastructure and applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security. By leveraging Azure's suite of tools and services, these engineers enable businesses to transform their operations and innovate within the cloud ecosystem.
Travel to the UK in the 1st week of joining for a couple of days and touch points on a monthly basis is expected.
What you will be doing Design and implement complex solutions architectures that meet business requirements and drive efficiency. Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements to improve functionality and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create integrated solutions, ensuring compatibility and interoperability. Provide technical leadership and strategy throughout the project lifecycle, from proof-of-concept to production. Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including diagrams, standards, and guidelines. Conduct architecture and design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards. Mentor and train junior architects and engineering teams, promoting best practices in system design and deployment. Work closely with project management to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Stay updated on technology trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to recommend new systems and solutions. Minimum Requirements Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role in a complex environment. Strong understanding of Solutions architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices. In-depth knowledge of various architecture frameworks and methodologies. Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and expertise in cloud architecture. Solid background in software development and infrastructure design. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and scalability. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and deployment strategies.
