The Cloud Operations Engineer specializes in administration of environment infrastructure, inclusive of application and network hardware resources. Develops and manages a patching schedule and response to identified incidents from both production and non-production environments. Collaborates with product feature development teams to create run books, 'night of deployment' manuals, and contact lists prior to releasing new and/or enhanced features to production. This role is part of the overall Infrastructure Domain within the Körber OneIT matrix organization.
Responsibilities Configuration and infrastructure management with tools like CloudFormation, TerraformExecuting and troubleshooting SaaS application deployment proceduresDevelopment of and continual improvement of automation and proceduresAnalysing and supporting infrastructure in AWS/AzureMonitoring system performance and recommend corrective actionDocumenting current environment and ongoing maintenance of documentationCollaborate with team leads, engineers, and support staff to ensure continuous and reliable delivery of serviceTroubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measuresQualifications Associates Degree in a related field (Networking, Software Development, Database Administration)Knowledge of Window or Linux based systems including Hardware, software, networking and storage1+ year of cloud implementations & operational support of a cloud ecosystem at Enterprise scale with Microsoft Azure or AWSKnowledge of ITSM processes and tooling (ServiceNow, other)Knowledge of or desire to learn:
