Your Role
We are looking for a Mid Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) to join our agile and international team. In this role, you will be developing our SeaSchedule product whose objective is to ensure the availability of correct, up-to-date, and comprehensive sea logistics schedule information across Kuehne + Nagel's global sea logistics network and systems. You will be joining a global team of engineers and analysts and build products to provide innovative solutions to delight your stakeholders. We want you to help take us to the next level!
Your Responsibilities You are going to design and develop the automation for platform operations, the infrastructure to support our applications (AWS + Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines and templates for it (GitLab).You will define guidelines, technical documentation, and user manuals.You will be our champion in fostering the DevOps mindset.Automation of release and rollout processes is also on your radar.You will help to establish and operate the platform infrastructure, including observability, SRE, and lifecycle.Your Skills And Experiences You have a DevOps, Cloud, and Automation mindset (Cloud AWS development preferred).You are familiar with software development practices in an Agile environment.You might have good experience and a personal inclination to mentor/coach team members.You display knowledge of platform concepts, such as GitOps, self-service operation, etc.You are confident in at least one major programming language and not afraid of working in a polyglot application landscape.You are well versed in IaC (Terraform), Git, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).You have a keen interest and want to go deeper into observability.Systems availability and performance are always on your mind.Collaborative work in international teams inspires you.Good Reasons to Join
