Cloud Engineer

Design infrastructure solutions that meet the organization's requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.Cloud Infrastructure Deployment: Implement cloud infrastructure solutions using various cloud service providers like Microsoft Azure. This includes creating virtual machines, configuring storage, setting up networking, and managing security aspects.Automation and Scripting: Develop automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to streamline the provisioning and management of cloud resources. Automate common operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.Continuous Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure the performance, availability, and cost-efficiency of cloud resources. Identify bottlenecks, optimize resource allocation, and propose improvements to enhance system performance and scalability.Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Configure security groups, manage access controls, and monitor for security vulnerabilities. Conduct periodic security audits and implement remediation measures as necessary.Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, network connectivity, and application deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and address incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with other teams, such as developers, operations, and project managers, to understand their requirements and provide guidance on cloud-related matters. Document technical designs, configurations, and operational procedures for future reference.Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing.
