PortoThis is how you succeedThe Cloud Engineer role is for people who are passionate about helping others. You will be communicating with our Cloud Manager and customers in a variety of industries, working with them to address any type of issue that arises from using our Doxis software as a service.
SER is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to enhance our DevOps processes for our fast-growing SaaS. The role will encompass the use of a broad range of AWS/Azure technologies, IaaC tools (terraform, helm) and application environments (Kubernetes), with an emphasis on the implementation of best practice cloud security principles.
You will collaborate on the creation of the IaaC journey using innovative technologies such as terraform and helm.You will provision and deploy cloud tenants for new customers over public clouds.You will integrate cloud tenants with customer's premises and users over the web.You will run incident resolution, facilitating teamwork with other departments as required.You will check SER Cloud system diagnostics, investigate system performance issues, monitor availability, and document issues as appropriate, in order to meet the in place SLAs.You work with development teams and professional services to troubleshoot more complex issues.You will contribute to the SOC2 and ISO27k certification process in accordance with industry standard methodologies.This is what you bring to SERYou have a degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science or a comparable education.You have experience in IaaC concepts and technologies such as terraform, helm charts or similar.You have at least 3 years of experience in the following areas:KubernetesNetworking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.)Experience with some scripting languages such as Shell, Ruby, Python, etc.Initial experience in the following areas is desirable:Knowledge of AWS services or Azure Services.Exposure to security concepts/best practices.Contribution to certification processes such as ISO27001 or SOC2.You like to learn the latest technologies.You enjoy teamwork and communication in English.What if I'm not an expert in all the preferred qualifications listed on the job description?
