This engineering role offers an exciting opportunity in an advanced Cloud and DevOps environment to showcase your expertise in SQL and NoSQL database technologies and your extensive experience managing large-scale AWS and Alibaba Cloud databases.HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?As the Cloud Database engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain our cloud-based SQL and NoSQL databases running on AWS and Alibaba Cloud. Your primary responsibilities will include:Database Design and Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect scalable, high-performance databases on cloud platforms.Database Operations: Participate in operating databases, managing performance, availability, security, and data integrity.Performance Optimization: Analyze database performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to enhance system efficiency.Data Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Cloud Platform Management: Manage and optimize AWS and Alibaba Cloud databases, leveraging their native services and features.Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve database-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal downtime.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
