.Job Description - Clinical Research Coordinator I (3306309) The Center for Value-Based Health Care & Sciences in the Department of Neurology at the Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator I (CRC-I) to assist with the operation of current, ongoing research studies and the start-up and operation of future studies. The CRC-I will also provide administrative support to ensure the efficient and effective day-to-day functioning of the research in the Neurology Department. This is a primarily administrative role, with a focus on coordinating and managing study projects, managing personnel, and handling research-related paperwork on quality improvement and/or data-driven analytical research. Direct patient contact is minimal, mostly limited to phone interactions if needed. The CRC-I will ensure the smooth operation of research protocols, maintain IRB compliance, and provide essential administrative support to the Center for Value-Based Health Care & Sciences. This position is ideal for individuals with strong organizational and interpersonal skills who are comfortable managing complex schedules, coordinating a team of research fellows, and interacting with a team of data scientists, research coordinators, managers, Principal Investigators (PIs), and co-directors. The CRC-I will adhere to the highest standards of professional values and work ethic while furthering the mission and vision of the Neurology Department. They will uphold confidentiality as it relates to the PIs, study participants, colleagues, and any situations arising within the Neurology Department. Applicants must be highly motivated with the strong organizational interpersonal skills necessary to interact with study participants, colleagues, and the PIs.
