We are super excited to be recruiting a Client Solutions Project Manager to join the Ovation Portugal team based in Lisbon.
Who you are:
Within this new role, you will be the main responsible for the successful delivery of RFPs for Portugal. With strong communication and organizational skills, you function as a liaison between Sales and Operations. You are the person who ensures that the client needs outlined in the brief are met through winning proposals. Then, once the business is won, the project is handed over to Operations flawlessly, ensuring all prior work is properly documented and shared.
You are a multi-tasker with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time whilst ensuring quality, innovation as well as timely delivery of proposals at all times.
You have a true passion for Portugal as MICE destination and are constantly on the lookout for the newest venues and to-dos to ensure we are ahead of our game. You are a team player who feels like a fish in the water in an international ambience.
Besides being our star when it comes to proposal development, you are also able to support our Operations team onsite when the event agenda calls for extra support, displaying your skills as an experienced Event manager.
Skills and requirements
3 – 5 years of experience in the MICE Market as Project manager/Event manager (ideally DMC)
Excellent knowledge of Portugal as MICE destination
Proven experience in budgeting and Event proposal writing
An extensive MICE supplier network
Proficient in Microsoft products
Experience with SAP CRM and/or Cvent is a plus
Good written and verbal communication
Proficient spoken and written Portuguese and English communication skills; fluency in other languages is a plus
Creativity, curiosity, high energy level, and an enthusiasm for meeting and working with a wide range of individuals
Comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders and can effectively articulate and defend your decisions both orally and in writing
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Ability to make decisions and to prioritize tasks as well as remain calm under stress
Problem-solving skills
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality solutions
Eagerness to learn
Portugal and international travel may be required
Interest in and knowledge of sustainable event design valued
