Description: Marsh Portugal is seeking candidates for the following position for its Claims Management Team, based in the Lisbon or Porto office:
CLAIMS SENIOR SPECIALIST - CONSTRUCTION INSURANCE FIELD

We will count on you to:
Analyses and advisory on claims related with construction field clients.
Focus on Construction, Property and Liability claims management (standard and complex claims).
Be present and work as one with our clients (on-site presence and getting familiar with their reality and projects across Portugal).
Manage a team of claims advisors.
Make direct contact with clients and insurance companies, identify responsibility, schedule expertise assessments, negotiate indemnity values, and produce reports (local and international).
Contact international colleagues in order to manage outgoing claims from projects abroad.
What you need to have:
A degree or masters degree in law, civil engineering or other related field.
At least 5 years of experience managing construction or property & liability claims.
Strong teamwork, proactivity and results orientation skills.
English and Portuguese language proficiency.
Proficiency working with MS Office including Excel.
