This role provides for the overall investigation, examination, evaluation, and timely resolution of Global cargo and insurance claims within WW's Global and Regional Organization.ResponsibilitiesWHAT YOU'LL DOEntry level positionData entry of policiesGather, research and record information necessary to maintain an orderly and efficient flow of cargo claims for ocean and solutions assessment and processing.Ensure that cargo claims are handled prudently in accordance with the company's contractual obligations, global policies and associated procedures.Prepare and file third party liability/recovery claims when appropriate.Provide and report claims statistics as may be required through internal systems.Follow global policies and processes to meet monthly KPI's.Work closely with P&I & insurers.Assist and provide assessment as required by Commercial and operations teams.Update all systems within the company and for customers in compliance with contracts.QualificationsWHAT YOU'LL NEEDAnalytic & Problem Solving.Personable and approachable with good verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.Confidence and ability to deal with people across all areas of the business (Cross Cultural understanding).Excellent personal organization, administration, numeracy and literacy skills.Experience in working to timescales, ability to prioritize and meet assigned deadlines.Organizational and multi-tasking abilities recognizing priorities and adjusting work as appropriate.Awareness and recognition of own learning needs and commitment to improvement for own development.Ability to work independently and also as part of a team, use own initiative and be proactive.Computer Literacy: Profound MS Office knowledge and quick learner of business applications.Advanced MS Excel, Word and Outlook skills.Ability to demonstrate evidence of strong administration experience.EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVEAble to work from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm and occasionally on Saturdays.Additional languages: German, French, Korean (desirable).ABOUT YOUExcellent accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal relationships.Flexible, adaptable, proactive and collaborative.ABOUT USWallenius Wilhelmsen is an iconic shipping and logistics company with premium end-to-end supply chain management.
