.In light of the rapid international growth of the business Mindelo-Group is currently looking to recruit a Chief Financial Officer. The Chief Financial Officer will report directly into the 2 owners of the company and will assist in determining and implementing the strategy to achieve the ambitious objectives. Mindelo-Group is looking for an intelligent business-minded CFO who likes to work in a smaller, rapidly growing and ambitious environment with an entrepreneurial culture. Your key responsibilities Partnering with the Executive Team on all operational and strategic issues as they arise; providing strategic recommendations to the team based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis ; Participating in the ongoing strategic planning process ; Sponsoring, evaluatingand implementing various projects across the business to increase the financial maturity of the organization and deliver upon the key responsibilities listed here below; Providing relevant andappropriate business analytics to the leadership team so they may effectively manage their areas of responsibility and be aligned with the financial management of the company ; Reporting financial results, business risks, budgets, and business strategies effectively to the Executive Team ; Overseeing the preparation and approval of all financial reporting materials and metrics; including budgets, forecasting, and analysis ; Managing cash flow andforecasting ; Assessing margins and pricing alongside product development initiatives ; Maximizing working capital efficiency via accurate and timely invoicing, suitable purchasing terms ; Ensuring effective treasury management ; Ensuring frequent contact with banks, accountants and other external parties ; Skills and attributes for success You have a business & entrepreneurial mindset; You love the scaleup culture and want to have an impact on the growth strategy of the company; You are looking for autonomy and personal growth, and you get excited about financial strategy; You have strong soft skills and are energized by communicating, presenting key results, coaching and developing a competent team; You have a strong drive and a pragmatic mindset focused on delivering value to internal and external clients. You are able to manage & prioritize multiple projects at the same time and to cope with changing priorities; You have strong quantitative and analytical skills; You have affinity withtechnology ; To qualify for the role you must have Master's degree in Finance or Economics; Min. 8 years of relevant experience in financial and operational roles or in consulting and audit services ; Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Portuguese and English.
