Core Business Support: Prepare the client (majority shareholder of the Core Business group) for Board Meetings by analyzing financial documentation, liaising with the group CFO, and preparing relevant questions and comments.
Assist in the approval of annual financial statements for the holding company.
Support sporadic and extraordinary Board meetings (investments, special projects).
New Ventures: Set-up dashboards and KPIs to allow the client to make decisions on financial investments in new ventures.
Conduct monthly P&L analysis for new ventures, liaising with local "intra-preneurs" to ensure clear understanding and control of investments and profitability.
Provide bi-monthly coaching calls to entrepreneurs to enhance their business management skills.
Personal Holdings: Supervise accountants and lawyers, providing guidance on revenue and cost management.
Oversee the approval of annual financial statements.
Perfil ideal:
Minimum of 15 years in a corporate finance role, ideally as a Group CFO or Financial Director in a multinational environment.
Experience in auditing is a plus.
Proven track record in analyzing and translating complex financial data into understandable terms for non-financial professionals.
Excellent educator with strong communication skills. Ability to make finance sound simple to business leaders with less of a finance background but very strong business acumen and entrepreneurial skills.
Fluent in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
Strong positive attitude with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
Exceptional listening skills, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
Ability to adhere to corporate values of curiosity, excellence, honesty, passion, and teamwork.
Open-minded with a multicultural background.
Interest in Asian cultures is a plus.
Punctual and able to meet in-person in Cascais approximately 30% of the time, with the remainder being remote work.
