Descrição Join our client's fast-growing team in the North region - Santo Tirso, as a Chief Accountant (M/F). Key tasks include: Accounting and closing operations: monitoring monthly closings, transactional activities, accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, and intercompany reconciliations.
Treasury and funding-related operations: launching payment campaigns, bank account reconciliations, and monitoring subvention files.
Internal control: ensuring conformity with internal control principles, application of 4 eyes principle, and proper SOD.
Tax compliance: ensuring accuracy of declarations, VAT returns, withholding taxes, stamp tax forms, and corporate income tax returns.
Requirements:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Management, or Economics.
Solid experience in similar functions.
Valid certification of Chartered Accountant.
Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) is valued.
Strong logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and leadership skills.
Fluent in English (written and spoken) - MANDATORY.
