Chief Accountant

Position SummaryAs a Chief Accountant, your main role will be to supervise the accounting team and to ensure compliance with the legal and fiscal obligations of the company's accounting.Your Role:Ensure the legal compliance of all the company's transactions with accounting standards (USGAAP, Accounting Tunisia).Ensure the certifications and declarations necessary for the activity of the company.Analyze general accounts and ensure their compliance.Ensure the communication of the necessary data for the central office and the statutory auditor.Respond to feedback from external auditors.Define the corrective and preventive action plan as part of your activities and ensure its monitoring.Support the accounting team in solving problems.Train the team on new accounting and legislative regulations and requirements to keep them updated.Your Background:Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or equivalent.At least 3 years of experience as a chief accountant with team management experience.Good fiscality knowledge.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Good verbal and written communication in English; additional languages are preferred.Why join us?You can grow at Aptiv.
