Do you excel in a fast-paced kitchen environment and take pride in setting the standard for excellence? We're seeking a Chef de Partie to oversee the hot section , ensuring every dish is prepared to perfection.
You will work alongside our Head Chef, David Barata, who holds experience in some of Portugal's top Michelin-starred kitchens. The right candidate will join our young and enthusiastic kitchen team in helping to position this project as a national 'go-to' destination and a core part of Portugal's good food movement.

Experience working on hot section
Experience working in restaurants aligned with Austa

AS A JUNIOR KITCHEN TEAM MEMBER YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO:
Immerse yourself in the culture of our concept and embody the brand in your own individual way on a daily basis.
Produce the necessary mise-en-place items following recipes and instructions
Store and label such items correctly and manage the rotation of stock according to the FIFO methodology
Articulate with senior chefs the order lists of the assigned section
Receive, check and store orders appropriately
Be involved in preparing quality staff meals when assigned
Follow HACCP guidelines regarding all operations where applicable
Deliver high-standard and consistent service on the assigned sections
Be involved in the development of new menu items, attend team briefings and pre and post-service briefings
Contribute to maintaining tidy and organized workspaces
Be punctual and respectful of schedules and contribute to smooth daily operations
Communicate openly and honestly with management and work together to create a respectful partnership
