Your new area of responsibility: As a Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d), you will be part of our cyber security team in the space sector and contribute your experience to leading international and national space organizations and companies. Your exciting and varied tasks will include the following activities, depending on where you feel "at home" and in which area you would like to develop further:
Designing the security architecture of IT/software systems for satellite ground stations Design and implementation of IT infrastructures to ensure secure control centers Analysis and assessment of vulnerabilities in the planned IT infrastructure (software/hardware, network) Implementation of security requirements in the context of space projects Creation and implementation of IT/software tests for compliance with security requirements Creation of project documentation Participation in project reviews with customers Integration of cyber security concepts into the system development processes of our customers Development of specifications for the area of secure systems engineering for cyber-resilient systems Development of concepts for the prevention and defense against threats and attacks through vulnerability assessment and risk management strategies as well as design of forensic analysis concepts Planning and carrying out penetration tests of our clients' IT infrastructure and space assets Analysis and assessment of cyber threats, including identification and recommendation of cyber security measures and creation of a comprehensive cyber security situation report Advice on the selection, implementation and operation of cyber security solutions On-site support for our customers in the event of suspected IT security incidents, such as hacking or compromise of their IT networks with malware Supporting our clients in terms of governance, risk management and compliance, as well as in the design, implementation and maintenance of information security management systems (ISMS)Planning and conducting penetration tests of our clients' IT infrastructure and space assets What you need for your new role: You already have several years of experience as a Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d) You have experience in information security management, IT security architecture, IT security auditing or cybersecurity engineering You have an excellent understanding of security principles, risk management (e.g. ISO2700x) and technical methods. You have several years of practical experience in this area. You also have a degree in IT security, computer science, electrical engineering or comparable training with relevant professional experience. You can express yourself very well in German and English, both orally and in writing.
