Triangle Talent is hiring a CFO for a multinational company located in the Porto Region.
The Project
Being in charge of all financial subjects, you will report hierarchically to the Hof Operations and operationally to the CEO of the subsidiary.
The key figures you will be in charge of are 60M€ revenues in 2024 with significant growth perspectives in the coming years, 350 headcount, and 20M€ investments.
You will manage a team of 2 people (controlling & accounting).
You will develop and maintain a close business partnership with the CEO and his direct managers.
The job has many interfaces with operational & program managers, within the Finance community (other CFOs, program controllers, accounting, treasury, etc.) as well as with external parties (auditors, etc.).
Main Activities
Achievement of revenues, EBIT, and free cash flow objectives.
Ensure the financial performance of the subsidiary with a strong focus on business controlling.
Support the CEO and operational managers on strategic decisions (e.g., new investments).
Ensure the rules and standards are applied in terms of accounting, taxes, ethics & compliance.
Ensure payments are made on time for payables & receivables.
Ensure closing accounts are completed timely and accurately, including coordination with external auditors.
Manage a team of 1 controller and 1 accountant (with a perspective to grow in the coming years).
Main Deliverables
Controlling
Manage & deliver financial midterm plan (OP).
Ensure robustness of forecast exercises, deliver standard reporting.
Follow & analyze the financial KPIs: recurring & non-recurring costs, productivity, hourly rate, headcounts, stocks & WIPs, CAPEXs.
Manage risks & opportunities with the CEO and the managers.
Ensure resources are challenged at the right level.
Support mitigation action plans to achieve financial objectives.
Develop local financial awareness.
Facilitate management decisions and elaborate business cases when needed.
Accounting & Treasury
Manage the monthly closings in a timely manner and with quality.
Ensure accounting rules are correctly applied.
Ensure the analytical accounting architecture is in place, corresponding to business demands and client standards.
Steer the free cash flow with a specific focus on investments, payables & receivables, stocks & WIP.
Ethics & Compliance
Ensure rules and processes are defined, in place, and applied.
Escalate issues at the relevant level when needed.
Prepare and support external audits.
Required Profile
Master's degree and recognized experience of at least 10 years in finance.
Previous experience as CFO or Business Controller in industry is expected.
English at negotiation level required; French intermediate level will be appreciated.
Rigorous, pragmatic, autonomous & proactive, with the ability to synthesize complex subjects.
Team player, able to understand the business and assertive in a challenging environment.
Integrity & role model in terms of ethics & compliance.
