Job Description Job Brief: We are seeking an experienced Certified Accountant (CA) to join our Finance department in Portugal.
As a CA, you will be responsible for preparing reviewing, and analyzing financial and tax reports for our company.
Your expertise in bookkeeping, auditing, and tax procedures will be crucial.
The external accounting service provider is in charge of all transactional accounting activities.
Furthermore, support ir provided by the group tax and accounting (IFRS) governance team from Germany.
Your contribution to something big: - Accounting level Manage closing activities, ensure completeness and "correctness", instruct BPO if needed Coordinate implementation of local GAAP changes and changes of IFRS standards in the legal entity, if any Manage legal entity reporting, e.g.
validate IFRS group reporting local GAAP reporting and coordinate release, if any Manage external service provider's local performance in cooperation with governance team in the Headquarter in case of escalation - Tax level Prepare and submit all tax related declarations Prepare deferred taxes / tax reporting according to IFRS Ensure compliance with local tax law and implementation of national tax regulations Coordinate local tax audits, if any Prepare and submit transfer prices documentation supported by tax group governance and external tax service provider Qualifications What distinguishes you: - Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Certified Accountant qualification.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial procedures (minimum 10 years experience).
- Initiative and excellent communication skills, business fluent in written and spoken English.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (preference SAP).
- High level of commitment and resilience in a challenging and changing multinational environment.
