What are we looking for? To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Category Purchasing Manager for our Matosinhos hub.
Main responsibilities: Ensure procurement and purchasing activities; Manage purchase planning by purchase category; Conduct prospecting, qualification, and evaluation of new suppliers; Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers on various variables, including prices, deadlines, requirements, and contractual conditions; Develop negotiation and procurement strategies focused on the continuous search for new solutions and partners, aiming to optimize the total cost of ownership; Responsible for the communication and hierarchical reporting of the progress and results of purchasing processes. Profile: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management/Electrotechnics/Mechanical or similar fields; 6 to 8 years of experience in similar roles; Proficiency in English (written and spoken) Knowledge of ERPs (SAP); Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI); Strong orientation towards results and processes; Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes; Dynamism, proactivity, and team spirit; Problem-solving skills and resilience.
