We are looking for a dynamic and creative HR Communication Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, your responsibilities will include developing and implementing innovative internal communication initiatives to engage and inform our employees. This position reports to the Vice President of Human Resources, giving you the opportunity to collaborate with senior leadership with a high degree of autonomy. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute both creatively and operationally to our internal communication efforts. The HR Communication Specialist will play a critical role in designing and implementing communication initiatives that align with our organizational goals while actively participating in HR projects to support employee engagement.
The Impact You'll Make
Plan and develop internal communication content, in line with BIAL's HR policies (internal and external programs; internal initiatives; news; performance appraisal, surveys, training, etc.);
Produce employee-oriented communications: develop, author and design a variety of internal communications, including but not limited to presentations and announcements, making sure a clear and compelling message is delivered;
Develop and implement strategies to showcase BIAL's culture and values (employee testimonials, well-being activities, job fairs and external events strategy, improvement of onboarding, etc.);
Manage and improve HR communications channels (Intranet, e-mailing, boards, etc.);
Set up and manage employee corporate programs, events, and initiatives (e.g. BIAL Running, myCompany, Book Club, etc.);
Set up of internal events and campaigns calendar (BIAL's anniversary, happy hours, festive days, sports tournaments, etc.);
Organize teambuilding activities for teams across the organization;
Establish partnership programs and discounts with external entities;
Track and measure the effectiveness of communication approaches, provide analysis and recommendations to drive improvement opportunities;
Provide operational support, whenever needed, on different HR programs or ongoing projects.
What You'll Bring
A degree in Communication, Human Resources or other relevant area;
A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing HR-related internal communication or other relevant corporate communication experience;
Great digital skills, namely in video creation and editing, as well as other digital tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Canva);
Proficiency in both verbal and written communications in Portuguese and English (minimum C1 level required); other languages like Spanish, Italian or German would be a plus;
Outstanding attention to detail;
Creative personality with strong resilience and flexibility skills;
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and teamwork spirit;
Ability to take initiative and operate in a cross-functional environment.
