Career Opportunities: Associate Environment Specialist (Temporary) (3942) Requisition ID 3942 - Posted - Portugal - Porto Join Our Mission to Improve Lives Worldwide The Associate Environment Specialist is a full-time position in the Sustainability team, based at Bial Headquarters in Porto and reporting to the Senior Manager, Sustainability. This role is responsible for ensure compliance with the Environmental Management System, under applicable requirements related to BIAL activities, following the defined guidelines and goals set by the Company. The Impact You'll Make • Monitor the Environmental Management Program, as well as the actions required to comply with it;• Plan and conduct internal audits and host certification audits.• Analyse the results obtained and ensure the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) promptly, and evaluate their effectiveness;• Promote training for employees and subcontractors in procedures and supporting documents for the Environmental Management System;• Promote the Environment Policy in the Group, including BIAL affiliates, in collaboration with local managers; • Ensure compliance with the requirements applicable to the Waste Management system, identify and implement the actions necessary for its continuous improvement;• Comply with the Policies, Standards and Procedures in place;• Collaborate effectively with other departments, teams and colleagues as required, to support overall company objectives.What You'll Bring • Degree in Environmental Engineering or similar;• Proficiency in Environmental Legislation and ISO 14001 standard (preferable);• Experience in Environmental Management Systems (preferable);• Communication Skills and capability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams;• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships contribute to successful project outcomes;• Project management and Problem-Solving Abilities;• Strong sense of responsibility and proactivity.Bial offers competitive compensation packages and actively fosters and supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.Create Your Path@BIAL "The innovative projects continue to motivate me, and the people as well because they are incredibly passionate about what they do, very curious, and unafraid to face the unknown." – Miguel Fonseca (Senior Data Scientist, Portugal)#J-18808-Ljbffr
