Job Description & Summary: In CMAAS, we support companies through moments of exceptional financial change, by providing them with independent and objective advice on transaction accounting, accounting change and accounting and reporting problem solving. We offer tailored advice to a broad range of businesses; from smaller entrepreneurial companies, to larger national or multinational companies. No two projects are ever the same for us - they include listings, large M&A transactions, how to structure a transaction, GAAP conversions and complex accounting issues.
Profile:
Master's and/or Degree in Management, Economics, Finance or Accounting;
Oral and written domain of the English language;
High sense of responsibility and commitment;
Critical and analytical thinking;
Ability to work in a team;
No professional experience (New Joiners);
We are looking for candidates who are excited about Accounting Advisory, that show an interest in complex financial (IFRS) and sustainability reporting topics (EFRAG, ISSB, etc.) and exhibit high problem solving skills.
Responsibilities:
You will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive experience, helping our clients solve their complex topics (from strategy to execution) for corporate, insurance and financial institutions. These could include, for example, accounting support in complex financial transactions, IFRS conversion support, implementation of new accounting standards. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist clients through the provision of advice, the delivery of implementation projects, investigation and resolution of technical accounting, financial and regulatory issues;
Work with multidisciplinary teams on projects to deliver high quality client service;
Support the team in developing practical solutions to accounting and regulatory challenges by utilising research tools;
Support in interpretation and implementation of sustainability reporting standards (e.g. EFRAG, ISSB, EU Green Taxonomy, etc.);
Provide support to Audit Teams in complex topics.
