Our success and sustainability are only made possible by continuing to develop our assets and technology through innovation and collaboration, and importantly through the development and diversity of our people who every day 'Make Incredible things Happen' At Subsea7.Within the Global Project Centre – Lisbon Hub, the CAD Drafter is co-responsible to apply advanced techniques to produce complex drawings and sketches consistent with good engineering practice and in compliance with company drawing office procedures.Specific Key Responsibilities & ActivitiesProvide CAD skills and knowledge both 2D and where appropriate 3D.Interface with CAD Lead ensuring CAD deliverable schedule is being met and budget is on track.Interface with other disciplines, when instructed by CAD Lead, to obtain input for designs and drawings, identify and contribute to find solutions.Assist Fabrication as required in the resolution of construction difficulties relating to design problems, clashes, etc.Actively participate in relevant training and development to pursue continuing professional development.Essential Experience, Skills, And KnowledgeB.Sc. in Engineering or Technical education related to mechanical or structural engineering.Experience in steel structures and/or mechanical design (background in offshore business is a plus but not mandatory).Keen interest to pursue a career in mechanical/structural drafting.Interest to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team.Knowledge in Autodesk AutoCAD, Vault & Inventor software, and MS Office.Sound communication skills in English, both verbally and written.OUR OFFERWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
