Buyer (M/F) - Barcelos

Mecwide is a group undergoing strong national and international expansion with ambitious projections, aimed mainly at the Oil & Gas, Mining, Cement, Heavy Industry, and Data Centers sectors. We are looking for a Buyer (M/F) for our Headquarters in Barcelos :

Availability : Immediate availability

Site : Barcelos

Role Description:

Buying products and services for all project needs;

Price evaluations, market assessments, and product ordering;

Record keeping and tracking of inbound orders;

Coordinate logistics to ensure that the products ordered and the deliveries to the project sites are on time and of good quality;

Prepare contracts and PO terms with the legal department;

Negotiate payment terms and contracts with suppliers;

Authorize payments and manage purchase expenses;

Role Requirements:

MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Production Engineering;

Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar position as a buyer;

Adaptability and problem-solving skills;

Analytical thinking ability;

Negotiation and business relations skills;

Good verbal and written communication skills;

IT skills: Microsoft Office and ERP software (Sage preferred);

Languages: advanced English, other languages will be a plus;

Availability to be abroad for some periods according to project needs;
