We are looking for a candidate to execute tactical buying of low- to mid-value items within established thresholds. This includes identifying suppliers from the preferred list, negotiating, selecting suppliers, and delivering sourcing results that contribute to savings targets while meeting business Service Level Agreements. The candidate will also support procurement automation by actively seeking opportunities to expand catalogue coverage.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Executing mid- to high-value tactical buys and sourcing projects, including supplier negotiations and selection.
Running eSourcing events in Ariba and coordinating supplier communications.
Managing Purchase Orders (POs), including terms, conditions, modifications, and closure.
Ensuring timely follow-ups with internal teams for technical evaluations and compliance with procurement timelines.
Supporting efforts to reduce tail spend by channelling it through strategic suppliers.
Providing feedback on tactical buy activities to improve standardization and automation.
Facilitating automated buying channel setups and assisting with supplier onboarding.
Updating internal databases, managing procurement documentation, and performing quality checks on contracts and purchase requests.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? University degree in business, economics, finance, procurement or related.
Fluent in English and German, spoken and written on a business level.
At least 5 years of general Procurement area (low to mid-level spending) in a middle-sized or large organization.
Sourcing execution strategies, approaches and methods, as well as contract management and procure-to-pay processes.
Proven experience in supplier selection, negotiation and contracting areas.
Experience in stakeholder management (internal & external).
Experience in cost comparison analysis and scorecard preparation.
