.Mission: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Buyer to join our procurement team. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the inventory of materials, supplies, and services required for the efficient operation of our industrial and business processes. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers. What will you do: Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure the best possible terms and conditions. Manage shipment processes and logistics coordination, with knowledge of international Incoterms. Handle customs documentation and ensure compliance with international trade regulations. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure the timely availability of materials and supplies. Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent and reliable supply. Address and resolve any issues or concerns with suppliers in a timely manner. Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Order Processing: Create and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and supplies by tracking orders and coordinating with suppliers. Resolve any issues related to order discrepancies, delays, or damaged goods. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to procurement. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all procurement activities. What will you bring? Minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement or buying role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting; Experience with customsdocumentation and international trade regulations; Understanding of Incoterms and their application in international shipping; Strong negotiation and communication skills; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; Ability to analyze dataand make informed decisions; Collaborative mindset to work closely with several stakeholders, and enthusiastic team player; Knowledge of market trends and supply chain management principles; Proficient in both spoken and written Portuguese and English; Experience with SAP system is a plus; An engineering degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field is a plus.
