The Bosch unit in Ovar belongs to the Building Technologies division and is focused on bringing solutions to the market that are shaping the smart cities of the future. The company develops and produces innovative solutions for security and communication systems, fire alarms, electronic displays, robotic lawn mower & E-bike components. With about 1,200 employees, its success lies in the highly specialized and innovative team and technological know-how.
Your contribution to something big:
Defining reporting processes, master data setting, concepts and controlling reports as interface between IT and operational business;
Understanding technical and operational requirements for business management;
Preparation of cost-effectiveness calculations and recommendations for possible solutions;
Supporting product development team implementing requirements in our BI systems with focus currently on SAP BW (later on in SAP Sphera, once SAP BW/4HANA is implemented);
Active participation on planning solution and development of SAP/4HANA project team for SAP Sphera in a timeframe of 2 years from now;
Testing and supporting migration of different SAP BW systems during carve-out process;
Change management and training our organization on processes and reports;
Providing support as an expert and process/report owner even after handover to operational areas;
Continuous development of reporting landscape (e.g. automation initiatives, optimization of data consolidation e.g. SQL, PowerQuery).
Minimum Requirements:
Completed at least 4 years of standard business administration studies, ideally with a focus on IT;
Several years of professional experience in controlling are required - ideally experience in the design and implementation of reporting solutions in BI systems;
Independently, analytical and structured manner of working;
Teamwork player, working in an international environmental, high level of communication skills;
Proactive way of working with a high focus on results;
Very high IT affinity, strong knowledge of BI systems, i.e. SAP BW or IBM Planning Analytics. SQL knowledge is an advantage;
Strong MS Office knowledge (i.e. MS Excel);
