Global Energy Management (GEM) is the platform responsible for the integrated global management of energy in the EDP Group and intends to recruit a Business Focal Point - Iberian Dispatch for the Iberian Markets Department.

What you will do:
Link between GEM's Iberian Short Term Dispatch and GEM's DGU and IT&Data areas;
Development/creation of User Stories (U.S.) for new IT requirements that are in the development pipeline as part of the Voyager Project to digitize Short Term Operations, particularly for the Lisbon and Oviedo dispatches;
Coordination and participation in tests of new developments carried out by the IT, AA and DGU areas and all external counterparties such as OMIE, REN and REE;
Support in the training of new shift personnel (Markets and Dispatch teams) to be incorporated into dispatch;
Supporting the director of Iberian dispatch in all the tasks required for the area: creating/validating reports, preparing presentations, analysing information, studies, etc.

What are we looking for:
Degree or master's in Electrotechnical, mechanical or similar engineering course;
Between 3 and 8 years in experience and knowledge of the MIBEL electricity markets;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Expertise in Confluence/Jira, Datahub, SQL, PowerBI, etc (tools for information analysis);
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively;
Fluent in English and we value knowledge of Spanish.
