We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Business Development Specialist to join our Business Development team and lead new product design initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, defining product requirements, and working cross-functionally with internal teams to bring new financial products from concept to market. The ideal candidate has a passion for innovation, a deep understanding of customer needs, and experience in designing and launching successful financial services or related products.
You will be responsible for:
Market Research & Opportunity Identification
Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for new product development
Product Conceptualization & Design
Lead the ideation and conceptualization of new financial products that meet emerging customer needs
Translate market insights and customer feedback into detailed product specifications, user journeys and business cases
Work closely with the UX/UI design and product management teams to ensure product prototypes align with the broader business strategy
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams including product, communication & brand, operations, legal, risk and technology to ensure smooth development and rollout of new products
Engage with key external partners to explore co-development or third-party integration opportunities
Testing & Go-to-Market Strategy
Conduct and monitoring solutions prototyping (e.g. pilot testing and validation)
Monitor the development of new products and support the testing phase until product launch
Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for new products, ensuring alignment with business goals and target customer segments
Track product performance post-launch and iterate on product design based on market feedback and performance data
Financial Modelling & Business Case Development
Build financial models to support product investment decisions
Develop detailed business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, to guide leadership's decision-making on new product initiatives
If you have:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business development, product design, or innovation, ideally in the financial services or fintech sector
Strong understanding of financial product design, including customer journey mapping and UX principles
Proven track record of developing and launching successful products
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders
Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Good verbal and written communication skills (Portuguese and English)
