Position Overview: This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and passionate Business Development Manager to join Portugal's newest rapid charging EV company, helping to meet the country's net zero aims through the decarbonisation of transport and help InstaVolt become Portugal's number 1 rapid charging network! The successful candidate will be responsible for finding and developing opportunities to deploy EV chargers in strategic locations with partners across Portugal. This will include managing the partner through the entire charger lease process in a timely and efficient manner aligned with the company's targets. What you'll do: Daily prospecting to develop a network of contacts, attracting new clients to meet company growth requirements Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings Driving engagement with clients to ensure swift and efficient completion of leases Ensuring clients understand the entire process required to deploy chargers Preparing and executing tender opportunities Understanding overall sales targets for the business and how they contribute to this Developing a plan to deliver agreed sales targets including sales forecasts and financial projections Liaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies Producing reports for management Creating and maintaining working relationships internally to ensure risks, issues, and opportunities are managed effectively and swiftly Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences Required skills and knowledge: A drive and passion to seek new business opportunities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to build excellent relationships with peers and partners Initiative and good decision-making skills Well organised Strategic and analytical thinking skills Required experience: Experience in selling and growing accounts to meet business demand is critical
