Currently the leading rapid EV charge point operator in the UK, we are expanding into Iberia. With a commitment to reliability, accessibility, and cutting-edge technology, we are expanding our presence to meet the growing demand for EV infrastructure across the region.Position Overview:This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and passionate Business Development Manager to join Portugal's newest rapid charging EV company, helping to meet the country's net zero aims through the decarbonisation of transport and help InstaVolt become Portugal's number 1 rapid charging network!The successful candidate will be responsible for finding and developing opportunities to deploy EV chargers in strategic locations with partners across Portugal. This will include managing the partner through the entire charger lease process in a timely and efficient manner aligned with the company's targets.What you'll do:Daily prospecting to develop a network of contacts, attracting new clients to meet company growth requirementsIdentifying market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channelsMeeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationshipsPreparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetingsDriving engagement with clients to ensure swift and efficient completion of leasesEnsuring clients understand the entire process required to deploy chargersPreparing and executing tender opportunitiesUnderstanding overall sales targets for the business and how they contribute to thisDeveloping a plan to deliver agreed sales targets including sales forecasts and financial projectionsLiaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategiesProducing reports for managementCreating and maintaining working relationships internally to ensure risks, issues, and opportunities are managed effectively and swiftlyAttending events such as exhibitions and conferencesRequired skills and knowledge:A drive and passion to seek new business opportunitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build excellent relationships with peers and partnersInitiative and good decision-making skillsWell organisedStrategic and analytical thinking skillsRequired experience:Experience in selling and growing accounts to meet business demand is critical
