We're seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience in e-commerce/online retail and fluency in Chinese to drive growth and innovation on a global scale.
What We're Looking For: This is a role for an expert in e-commerce who can leverage their experience and multilingual abilities to shape strategic partnerships, expand supplier capabilities, and uncover new growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities: Partnership Development: Establish and nurture strategic relationships with merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands, ensuring alignment with business and customer needs.Supplier Growth & Support: Empower suppliers to thrive by guiding them on product positioning, branding, marketing strategies, and market expansion.Innovative Category Management: Identify growth opportunities, propose creative solutions, and execute innovative projects that deliver results.Market Analysis & Adaptation: Analyze market trends, uncover customer needs using data-driven insights, and adjust strategies for maximum impact.What You Bring: Fluency in Chinese (spoken and written) is required.Minimum 8 years of experience in brand management, platform operations, or a similar role within e-commerce/online retail.A well-established network of connections with local sellers and vendors (preferred).Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to extract insights and support strategic decision-making.An innovative mindset, with expertise in creating and implementing merchant marketing strategies.The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to challenges and opportunities.Why Start 2025 With Us?
