About The Role & Team
Faced with ever-growing security threats from terrorism and international crime, together with the escalated focus on pandemics and health risks, governments are investing in new digital ways of working to protect their borders whilst improving operational efficiency.
At the same time, governments are looking at how they can open up their borders in a safe way to improve national prosperity by promoting trade and tourism into their country. Travelers are demanding a safe and seamless travel experience and we need to find new ways to enable the easy movement of goods worldwide.
The border of the future will be seamless yet secure. It will be a highly effective and agile, digital and integrated border with decisions made well in advance of the border. SITA's Border Management business, SITA AT BORDERS , is a market leader in Border Management solutions, working with over 70 countries worldwide, with in-depth knowledge and expertise of both border operations and the international travel.
What You'll Do
Drive all Business Development and Customer Growth activities as per short- and long-term objectives.
Position and support the Geographies developing the pipeline and promoting the go to market on digital solutions for Airlines and Governments globally.
Collaborate with the account management team to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
Manage and build relationships with clients; become the trusted advisor/consultant for them; ensure customer loyalty and highest level of customer satisfaction.
Gain deep understanding of the customer's business needs and use this to identify opportunities and plan for the continued development of Borders at SITAbusiness.
Build sales pipeline for future growth; coordinate with the sales teams to ensure sales forecasts are accurate and up to date.
Maintain clear visibility of the status of all commercial aspects of the accounts.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
5+ years proven success in generating revenue growth in a business development and/or Sales role.
3+ years Aviation relevant industry and/or market segment experience.
3+ years relevant Digital Travel and Digital ID product experience preferred.
Previous marketing experience desirable.
Track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets.
Track record of building client relationship at Senior Management level.
Track record of building and implementing business development plans incl. assessing, analyzing, tracking & consolidating market data.
Team player, capable of leading a group of teams internally towards the common objective of sustainable growth and coordination with the remaining business units.
