Squarespace is looking for a Business Development professional who is passionate about the power of Squarespace's platform and products to help customers build their brand and their business. Our Business Development team serves to commercialize new partnerships and incubate new growth opportunities. You will help identify new areas of potential growth and develop the most promising. The team collaborates with Legal, Finance, Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing and more.
You will report directly to the Director of Business Development and can be based in our New York office or remotely in an approved US state.
You'll Get To… Scale our new reseller channel program, from outbound strategy, pipeline development, pitching, negotiating, and launching new partners
Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, including resolving business and technical issues
Communicate market opportunities, needs and partner feedback to cross-functional teams to inform product roadmap and prioritization
Collaborate with design, product, engineering, legal, finance, marketing, and customer operations to launch new partners and scale existing
Track and communicate partner metrics, industry trends and the impact of these partnerships on our goals
Manage partnership pipeline and forecasting of key prospect-to-partner milestones
Represent Squarespace in external meetings with senior executives from other companies
Who We're Looking For 4+ years of professional experience relating to partnerships, business development, strategy, sales, or product management
A deep product sense, and comfort with considering basic technical feasibility of partner integrations
A passion and curiosity for building new things from the ground up, including being comfortable with charting the path forward without a playbook
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple time-sensitive initiatives without sacrificing attention to detail
Confidence when liaising with internal and external partners

Cash Compensation Range: $97,000 – $170,200 USD The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and location, among other factors. In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
