Position: Bookkeeper

Colorful Standards have a strong connection to Portugal where our manufacturing and logistics is based. We are looking to build further on this relationship and establish a shared service center in Portugal.
About the Role:
As a Bookkeeper in our Shared Service Center, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day financial operations across Colorful Standard entities in Portugal, UK, US, and Denmark. You will work closely with our finance team and report to the Finance Manager in Denmark (dotted line reporting). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our growing organization and become an integral part of our finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledger entries, invoices, and expense reports.
Handle all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Collaborate with the Finance Manager in Denmark to ensure seamless financial operations.
Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
Continuously improve processes and systems to increase efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger management.
Experience with finance systems is essential; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly preferred.
Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
