The Opportunity
Mineral Resources is actively seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our team for FIFO opportunities across various construction projects and locations with a forecast of 5 years' worth of work in the pipeline. We are dedicated to the planning, designing and the construction of Mining Process Plants and Non-Process Infrastructure for all our internal owner operated sites and external client operations with the likes of BHP, Rio Tinto and Roy Hill.
Current Projects – Immediate start:
Point of Hire - Flights from Perth
Roster: 2:1
Scope: Disassembly of an iron ore processing plant - this will include dismantling and removing existing components and structures for demobilisation and relocation.
Point of Hire - Flights from Perth
Roster: 2:1
Scope: Construction of a 15million Tonne per annum processing plant, this involves construction of a primary jaw crusher, 3 secondary cone crushers, a radial, conveyors and fixed stackers.
What you will be doing:
Reporting through to the Supervisor, some of your duties will include:
Ensure safety protocols and procedures are strictly adhered to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Interpret drawings and blueprints to determine the layout of piping, equipment, and systems.
Test assembled structures and equipment and perform relevant checks to ensure quality and integrity. Using testing equipment, visual inspections, and pressure tests.
Collaborate and effectively communicate with other team members, including welders, plumbers, or pipefitters
What is required? (Tickets & Licenses)
Experience working within the mining, construction and resources industry
Australian recognised Trade certificate in Fabrication or Welding
Construction White Card
Current Working at Heights (2 years)
National Police clearance (12 months)
Rio Tinto Induction (Highly Desirable)
Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and a Drug / Alcohol Screen
