Description:
People:
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
Guest Experience:
Respond to all guests' requests for shuttle service in a prompt and courteous manner; assist guests with luggage while boarding and offloading the vehicle.
Assist incoming and outgoing guests with transporting luggage to and from guest rooms. May secure, tag, and store luggage at guest's request.
Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests and provide information regarding local attractions and activities.
Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Inform supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances, or dissatisfied guests.
Perform other duties as assigned which may include but are not limited to accepting dry cleaning from guests and securing it for pickup by the dry cleaning company, delivering clean laundry or guest mail/messages, or sundry items to guest rooms and responding to other special requests.
Responsible Business:
Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and hotel assets in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain good working relations with outside contacts.
Comply with federal, state, and local laws regarding health, safety, and alcohol services.
Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent and some guest service or driving experience preferred.
Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
Strong communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments.
Problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities, ensuring every guest leaves with great memories.
Literate and tech-savvy - a good grasp of reading, writing, basic math, and computers is necessary.
Flexibility - night, weekend, and holiday shifts are all part of the job.
Strength - ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg), which may involve bending and kneeling.
